I have a whole chicken and i need an idea?

i have a whole chicken to cook and im not sure how i want it? im thinking maybe a barbie-q marinade? does any one have any idea's? im making it for memorial day, me and my "other half" are going to a cook out at my parents house, and i wanna make a REALLY GOOD chicken, help me out people??
