Cooking frozen meat in marinade?

I have a piece of chicken breast and a piece of steak that were marinating but were not going to be eaten so I froze them. I want to defrost and cook them however the meat is frozen but the marinade is not fully frozen its almost slushy. I know the marinade does not contain alcohol is this safe to defrost and cook?
