Can I put anything on my chicken to tone down the sweetness of the balsamic marinade?

I marinaded some chicken in balsamic vinegar, oil, garlic powder and black pepper. It tastes too sweet. Can I sprinkle any kind of spice on it to make it taste better? Thank you
